When the summer heat eases and September’s mild light caresses the Provençal landscape, it’s time for classical music to resonate through Cotignac. Four winners of the Fanny Mendelssohn Förderpreis will take you on a delightful journey with their four unique concerts.
Thursday 11 September
Each Thursday, the notes of an acoustic guitar drift across O’Fadoli’s terrace. The melodies accompany the setting sun over Cours Gambetta, while guests share a pastis, a glass of wine or a few tapas — the perfect harmony for a gentle summer evening.

For over 20 years, Fafa Carioca has taken the Provence scene on a musical journey from the Brazilian north to its stunning south. Fafa's warm vocals explore bossa, samba, baião, blending covers and original compositions with a generous and moving musical interpretation.

This Marseille-based band unleashes the infectious rhythms of cumbia, salsa and merengue. Their explosive blend of percussion, keyboards, bass and vocals brings a wild energy to their Afro–Latin American repertoire, sweeping the audience into a colourful fiesta.
Friday 29 August
Salsa class with Liliam Lloret de Mola Quintana live from Havana (7:30–9 pm), followed by a live concert by Okilonko (9–11 pm) and Cuban-flavoured sandwiches. A third caliente edition to dance, savour, and fully immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms of Cuba.

In Djégo’s imaginary West, two worlds collide: blues and machines. This duo crafts a hybrid sound, somewhere between the hypnotic electronica of Nicolas Jaar and the psychedelic guitars of The Doors, creating a sonic landscape that is raw, sensitive, and dreamlike.

A nostalgic wind full of Provençal flavours is blowing through Cotignac with Huguette Caren’s book. A true ode to Provence and its culinary heritage, this collection of recipes not only invites you to get busy behind the stove, but also opens a door to the fascinating history of Lou Calen.

Rosé ice cream, Provençal wines and acoustic guitar tunes entice you to this all-white summer evening party. At dinnertime, guests gather among the vines to enjoy an exceptional table d’hôtes menu, gently accompanied by the mellow sounds of live jazz.

Wednesday 20 August
On guitar, bombo, flute and vocal harmonies, these three musicians bring to life the peñas — lively dance gatherings from north-west Argentina. They celebrate Argentine folk music by blending collective energy, live performance and an introduction to traditional dances.

Poetry drifts through a lounge-like atmosphere, brought to life by Pia Leroy (piano, vocals) and Steph du Batt (bass, vocals). Together, they gently reimagine the musical worlds of Lana Del Rey, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Chris Isaak, Sinéad O’Connor, Pink Floyd, Sade, and many more.

Come and learn about the Provençal tradition of lavender spindle-crafting, a charming craft that encloses the lavender flowers inside their stems to preserve their wonderful scent. Discover how to gather them, how to sort them, and how to weave it all together with a beautiful ribbon.

Lloba aka DJ Cam masterfully blends techno, house and mainstream sounds. This time, she’s going for an eclectic house vibe, remixing timeless classics and weaving in rock, pop, afro, latino and disco… something for all tastes and all generations.

As every year, Cotignac Village du Rock kicks off at La TUF. The band Five and The Red One promises an electrifying evening to the rhythm of guitars, before the big event on Saturday, August 2nd on Cours Gambetta.
