About the author:
Jeany Cronk famously gathered up her three young children and sold her family home in London to follow her passion for Provence and co-founded rosé wine company Maison Mirabeau with her husband Stephen in 2010. The Cronks have embarked on a regenerative farming journey at their vineyard, striving to set an example of growing vines in harmony with nature and biodiversity.
Over the last 15 years, the couple has achieved remarkable success despite starting with little experience, limited finances, and no connections in the region. Jeany immersed herself fully into local life, ensuring her children adapted to their new home while learning to speak French fluently.
In addition to her role at Maison Mirabeau, Jeany serves as President of the Marketing Commission for the Wines of Provence, helping winemakers across the region collectively succeed. She was recently named one of the 100 most influential winemakers in the world in 2024, with particular recognition for her innovative bottle designs.
