You will discover, among other things, that immortelle has excellent wound-healing properties, that a decoction of strawberry tree leaves is a very effective urinary antiseptic, that lavender flowers can be used in an infusion to help with sleep problems, and that the fruit of the hackberry tree helps with digestion… Would you like to learn more? More about Vera
For 15 years, Vera travelled all over Europe with her own street theatre company. The life she had built around live performance was as eventful as it was rewarding. Yet she chose to leave it behind. She felt the need to reconnect with herself and with nature, to slow down and return to what mattered most. The legacy of women healers from centuries past has always inspired in her a thirst for knowledge. When she decided to make a career change, she turned to herbal medicine and aromatherapy.
Ever since she was a little girl, Vera has loved observing the tenacious plants that find a foothold in old stonework. This curiosity led her to organise her first botanical walks in Entrecasteaux. Their success with local residents encouraged her to offer more walks through the garrigue and along riverbanks, before bringing them to Lou Calen’s gardens in Cotignac.
