This spring, La Falaise Art Center presents a retrospective of Nathalie Eno, a still photographer working on film sets since the 1980s. Published in Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Première, and a former assistant to Dominique Issermann, she has more than 80 films to her credit.
Nathalie Eno began her career as an assistant to fashion photographer Dominique Issermann. Her images were quickly published in magazines such as Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan.
She then worked for five years for the magazine Première, where she covered numerous film shoots. A recognized still photographer, she has worked on more than 80 films, capturing the singular presence of actors and the intensity of moments of creation.
Trained in theatre, Nathalie Eno also acted in films after meeting Michel Piccoli on the set of Les Cent et une nuits by Agnès Varda. Her work explores those rare moments when the actor fades away to make room for the character.
