Sound Therapy and Qi Gong Retreat in Provence | 6th–8th November 2026

Take three days and spark your inner transformation. That is the promise of this autumn retreat, which combines sound therapy, Qi Gong, and breathwork to guide you towards the release of limiting patterns. Throughout your stay, a healthy vegetarian diet will support this process, promoting both physical and emotional detoxification. Alternating between physical practice, sound meditations, and moments of creativity and discovery, each day will give way to another step in your inner journey. You will leave feeling a sense of freedom, equipped with simple, effective new rituals to integrate into your daily life.

This is a "Metamorphosis" Retreat – freeing ourselves from limiting patterns

For three days, let Erycka and Florence guide you through the retreat programme. Please note that some activities may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

Florence Peltier

Since 2013, Florence has dedicated herself fully to the world of sound and its therapeutic benefits. She trained in sound therapy with Medson, Philippe Garnier, and Pasang Lama, and studied gong and crystal bowl practice at the Anahata Gong School, the Académie du Développement, and Cristal Vibrations. She also completed an eight-week mindfulness meditation program with Isabelle Pichot Duclos. Today, she generously shares her knowledge through therapeutic, meditative sound journeys. Each session combines the vibrational qualities of the instruments with the exploration of a specific theme, aiming to harmonise the subtle bodies and enrich the inner space of every individual presnt.

The Benefits of Sound Therapy

Sound therapy uses the vibrations of instruments – such as planetary Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes, and the human voice – to foster a state of deep relaxation. Planetary Tibetan bowls are tuned to frequencies symbolically associated with the planets and resonate with the seven main chakras. Their sounds and vibrations invite you to harmonise body and mind, soothe tension, and create the ideal conditions for welbeing.

Sound is a vibration that travels through space. Our bodies, composed largely of water, are particularly sensitive to these frequencies and naturally resonate with them. This subtle interaction fosters deep physical and mental relaxation, making it easier to access a state of calm and presence.

Sound meditations and group gong baths are practiced while lying down or sitting comfortably. Each session – lasting between 50 minutes and an hour – begins with guided relaxation before giving way to an inner journey carried by the instruments’ vibrations.

The Benefits of Qi Gong

Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines slow movements, breathing, and focus. Accessible to everyone, it invites you to gently release tension in the body, improve mobility, and cultivate a more conscious connection with yourself.

By synchronising movement with the breath, this discipline promotes flexibility, balance, grounding, and improved energy flow. Regular practice helps release tension and restore a sense of calm and vitality.

Throughout the retreat, you will discover various forms of Qi Gong, ranging from postural work to self-compassion Qi Gong. A sound-based Qi Gong workshop will also invite you to explore your own vibrational medicine, and you will leave with simple exercises to incorporate into your daily life.
