Lou Calen
The flame of Lou Calen (“oil lamp” in Provençal) is shining again in Cotignac. After more than 20 years of closure, the iconic hotel-restaurant created by Huguette Caren in the early 1970s has been reborn today as an eco-responsible hotel estate centred around wellbeing of people within nature. In July 2024 this historic hotel will finally open all its rooms to become the place it was always meant to be! Joe Dassin Room
This was the favourite guest bedroom of the famous singer, who was a regular patron at Lou Calen in the 70s and 80s! He even spent his wedding night in this room, after celebrating the event in Cotignac. And now 40 years later, this pretty mezzanine bedroom has been redesigned with natural materials in order to retain its old-world charm.
